The single articulating arm, which attaches to any wall, creates the perfect viewing angle for your TV with 180 degree lateral rotation, tilt and swivel. The Articulating LCD Wall Arm supports most 37″ up to 55″ plasma TV. It folds flat against the wall or extends out up to 27″. Fits VESA200×200, 300×300, 400×200, 400×400, 500×200, 600×400, 600×200, 660×400, 700×400 and any mounting hole pattern between 200 and 700mm (wide) by 200 to 400mm (High). Please check the back of your LCD to make sure if the mount fits your monitor or TV. Note: please check what mount your TV requires before place your order. Do not pick the mount by the screen size of your TV. Will This mount Fit my Plasma TV? First check the weight of the TV. It must be less than 180 lbs. Second, look at the back panel of your TV. If your TV has 4 holes or 6 holes on the back of the screen, measure the vertical and horizontal distance between the holes. If the vertical distance is within – 18.89 inch, horizontal distance within 29.92 inch, then this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount. Third, the width of your TV should be 36″ or above. My wall has weird stud spacing so I had to find a bracket that would span about 26″ to pickup 2 wall studs – This one was one of the few I found that was wide enough and inexpensive for my budget.br /br /I am handy, strong and prefer to do things by myself. I had this installed in a Saturday afternoon without any help. I could have done it in a shorter time had I not run into an electrical issue (found a hidden wire in the wall that had to be re-routed) and had I not had to mount it twice to get it to mount more flush with the wall – see below.br /br /All in all, I am OK with it due to the cost. Had I paid more I would have been fussy.br /br /Pros:br /1. Well built: Sturdy and solid. Supports my 58″ plasma (75 lb) with ease.br /2. Nice wide wall bracket (30″) allows use over studs that may not be 16″ on center.br /2. Parts were labeled well and instructions were clear.br /3. No missing parts and it was packaged well.br /br /Cons:br /1. Probably too heavy for one person to install by self.br /2. Hard to near impossible to get level over full range of motion. Wouldn’t suggest this one if you plan to use it fully extended out from wall or at extreme left or right. When level in middle, when moving left or right, it will go out of level. This is because the arms are bowed due to poor welds. Will be OK if you plan to use in the middle of the wall bracket without too much movement left or right. No way to adjust level without going back and mounting wall bracket out of level to compensate.br /4. Hard to get flush to wall if you use it off center of the wall bracket – which is a big selling feature for these products.br /br /I am using it and I am pleased with the final result but only because I needed the extra wide wall bracket to accommodate the odd spacing of my wall studs. I could have used one of those mounts that only requires 1 wall stud but I wouldn’t trust my new 00 plasma to only 2 screws. This one covered 3 walls studs so it isn’t going anywhere. I also wound up shortening the extension arm by removing 1 leg of the extension arm (not mentioned in instructions) so that I could get the thing to mount closer to flush with the wall to deal with the off center location of the wall bracket. I didn’t need the full extension so shortening of arm worked better for me. I got the TV about 8″ from the wall which is fine for my needs. I doubt anyone else would bother to take the mount apart and remove one of the legs of the extension arm so I only mention it because you may be handy like me and it is something that can easily be done if you don’t need the full double link arm extension and want to get it more flush with the wall.br /br /Very sturdy and should last years.
