I’ve had this set almost a week. It has a very good picture – colors are bright. The sound with the built-in speakers is very good – one of the best I’ve heard. The remote control has nice rockers for the channel and volume. These feel like high-quality switches for the most-frequently used buttons and will last a long time – very impressive. It has plenty of inputs.br /br /Its cost is low and it lacks a few things. It lacks analog sound outputs (it has neither phono jack outputs or a headphone jack), although it does have digital optical sound output. The remote control lacks a set of “favorites”. br /br /The biggest drawback is that there is no easy way to change from normal aspect to wide aspect. All other sets I’ve seen have a button on the R/C to easily switch between several choices. This set has only two choices (normal/wide) and you have to go through the menu to access it – very difficult.
