I purchased the Toshiba 37RV525R 37-Inch LCD TV right before the Superbowl. My previous television had fritzed out and I figured it was time to get one that was in HD. The TV was fairly easy to set up (although I do suggest someone help you with screwing the stand in because there’s no way you can do it yourself). The picture is crisp and clear and it was a breeze connecting it to my cable box and DVD player. It has simple controls for people like myself who are easily confused. I’ve been very pleased with the quality of this television though. My dad likes it so much he is planning on getting one for himself!br /br /(The reviewer was compensated for posting this review. The day after Christmas my old Toshiba started to get a little funny. Well, it was time to get another one. I had had it for years too long to remember. I bought another Toshiba for my bedroom the year before because of the quality and service it gave me. Since HD is the “in” to have I bought it and was impressed. So now I go for HD on this model and again I was impressed with the picture. Since it was going into a small room I didn’t want to get anything to big. However, maybe just a few inches larger would have been nice I am not complaining. I basically use it for movies and it is like being at the movies but on a much smaller scale. The sound is good for those movies where you don’t need lots of sound effects. I have components hooked up for those when needed. It’s a good looking set and was easy to set up and get started. The picture is wonderful. Bright, clear and detailed.
