This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. bNot doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer./b Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force. /p

Have had no trouble with this watch. Well designed. Looks like it cost much more. I am not a diver but I have scubaed and swam with this watch on and had no problem. Divers would appreciate a coin edge bezel and deployment clasp but it’s not necessary for me. The bezel is a little difficult to rotate (again, not really an issue with me). Asian quartz movement keeps accurate time I often use it to set my manual watch when I wear it. Adjusting the band is easy and can be done with a jeweler’s screwdriver or Leatherman by the owner. Removable links even have arrows to indicate which direction to push the pins out. This is not a big clunky watch. It may be a smaller sports watch but I’d consider it a medium/large dress watch. I’ve read all of the other reviews and have had none of the problems mentioned in the negative reviews. Maybe I’m just lucky. I didn’t buy it thru Amazon and get the 5 year warranty upgrade but at this price, with a 5 year warranty, you’ve really got nothing to lose. ( @ the time of this review). I seldom give 5 star reviews as I’m not easily excited but for this product I can’t see why I shouldn’t.
