Bold and busy, the Stuhrling men’s Louis Master Calendar automatic watch is the stylish timekeeping equivalent of a businessman’s Blackberry. This handsome watch is constructed with a 43-millimeter gold-tone case, a gold-tone gear-shaped stainless steel bezel, and a 20-millimeter black leather band with pushbutton-deployment clasp. A strong synthetic sapphire window protects the unusual dial face, which features gold-tone hour dashes and an Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock. Three gold-tone sub-dials settled between four and eight o’clock depict the day, month, and 24-hour clock, while just below 12 o’clock rests a date calendar. In addition, this striking watch includes automatic-self-wind movement and is water resistant to 165 feet.

I was looking for De Witt a very luxurios and exclusive brand of watch. In high regards with Rolex and Omega.br /br /I later found out that Stuhrling is one trade mark of De Witt.br /br /If you think you are not getting the real deal, you are getting the real thing and at a bargain. When I got this I could tell it was the real thing. You would never think at such a great price.br /br /

This a great watch especially for those with smaller to medium wrists. This timepiece is classy, beautifully retro styled and fun to wear daily. Ideal for semi-formal occasions. There is a variant of this model with a paler face and gold hands that could be even more visually appealing but the dial contrast is somewhat weak compared to this one with dark hands and cream background. The only possible design flaw on this watch is the date (day of the month, 1-31) sub-dial (at 3 o’clock) on which the font size is too small to be easily readable. Nice presentation/packaging (wooden box), hypoallergenic leather band, and excellent service from the Watch Emporium.

I have been buying automatic watches on-line since 2002. So far, managed to acquire high quality mechanical self winding mostly Swiss or other maker’s made time peace for fraction of price. So far have nice collection. This purchase wasn’t an exception. Appearance matches quality – quality matches appearance. Beautiful peace of work !!! Box is real wood. It is not only glowing as expensive – it is expensive real wood box. It looks like 00.00 watch. If case would be 2-3 mm thinner, this watch would go for 7-12K. Must have !!!

Bought this as I like Moon dials for a casual watch and my old one got lost. A tad bigger on my wrist than expected but good looking. Hands are a bit hard to read in poor light against the white dial. If I was ordering anew I would probably go for the cream dial as it looks like the hands would be easier to read. Otherwise very happy with the watch. AJ
