I like this watch very much. It is easy to read, good looking, and simple to set / operate. It has the functions I was looking for without the extraneous gadgetry. I especially like the eco-drive and I have had no difficulty with this power source thus far.br /I use the chronograph and sometimes the 24hr dial at work in an ICU and while it is certainly not a stopwatch it does give an adequate measure of elapsed time. Most importantly it is extremely quick and easy to start and reset, I can do so without even looking at the watch. br /It does not have an indiglow back light, instead the dial and hands just glow in the dark, I like this and think it adds function while keeping it simple. In low light the hands stand out and I don’t have to press anything at all.br /The wrist band is going to work for me, but definitely not for everyone. At its widest my wrist is 6.5″ or 17cm and the watchband fits comfortably (slightly loose) on my wrist at the 3rd hole from the end. I think the band would look awkward any lower number.br /The band is leather backed green fabric. It looks to be well stitched and the rivets make a sturdy buckle.br /Still the band for this watch is its obvious weak point, and not right for many people. I did not deduct a star for this however because it works well for me and beyond easy to replace for those it doesn’t. Overall I’d say the quality of the watch with the amazon discount makes paying for a really nice band that’s perfect for the wearer well worth the purchase.br /br /Lastly: the back is engraved and the red second hand, hour and minute hand are all in perfect alignment. If you took a magnifier to the second hand of the small dial you might notice it is not perfectly aligned, but the question is why would you ever do that.
