Pros:br /- Plastic strap is textured, making it look better (possibly more expensive?)br /- Personally love digital/analog watch displaysbr /- Easy to readbr /- I don’t mind the strap at all, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable to me though this was mentioned by some other reviewers. However, I don’t do any activities that are wrist-intensive or requires me to move my wrist around.br /- 2 Alarms, decently loud(I’ve had Timex watches that could barely wake me up.)br /- Feels sturdybr /br /Cons:br /- I forget how to reset the analog portion of the watch, so the hands aren’t matching the digital time.br /- The digital numbers are hard to read when it’s dim unless you press the light button.br /br /I can’t really think of too many cons for the price. There is no second hand, for anyone who needs that level of sensitive timing, but then there’s a digital timer. I really like this watch, especially for this price. I’ve gotten several compliments. It may not feel as comfortable as higher priced watches, but it definitely doesn’t look cheap.

I bought this watch when my Timex gave up after less than 2 years; I’ve owned several Casio in the past and never had them break after such a short time.br /The main feature I went for was the ani-digi function. It turns out, that’s as much a curse as it is a blessing…but more on that later.br /This watch does everything but sing and dance, and it’s possible that’s somewhere in the cryptic instruction book too. Multiple city times, stopwatch with all the usual bells and whistles, day/date display. br /br /Here’s the thing about the analog display, it does not set automatically! You have to set it by holding down a button (or two buttons if it’s a long way off) while the hands twirl around. And you don’t set the minute hand and hour hand separately…if you’re off by 11 hours (daylight savings time?) you have to watch the minute hand go around 11 times. And if you miss…you can’t go backwards…so it’s another 11+ hours. This seems really, really silly to me. As advanced as everything else is on this watch, I think setting the analog hands to agree with the digital should be automated.br /br /Pros:br /Ani-digi displaybr /Large face/dialbr /Very substantial feel/weightbr /Metal bandbr /br /Cons:br /Hard to adjust fit (but this is the case for any metal band)br /Analog setting isn’t automatedbr /Automatic light feature turns off and must be reset after a certain amount of time.br /br /So…I think it’s a good watch, well worth what I paid for it, but it could have been so much better.
