This is the first time i replaced the filter in the new fridge(had it about 6 months)but i was not about to pay that Best Buy and other stores wanted for a new filter so i found these on Amazon 3 for . br /br /Works great, has the blue end caps just like the original filter.Decreased the time to filter a full glass of water from 30 seconds(the old filter) to less than 25 sec. with the new. Not tremendous difference but noticable.br /br /As always let the water flow a few minutes after installing the new filter to get any gunk out of it.

Make sure to run the recommended amount of water through before drinking – the initial output was very cloudy, but tasted fine. We did notice that some little pieces of filter came loose in the water (like tiny threads) for awhile, but no problems after the first couple of weeks.
