Except for the slightly-looser fit with the refrigerator fitting in my Maytag Wide-by-side, it installed easily and without leaks (I’m currently on my second filter). It works every bit as well as the original Maytag filter at 2/3 the price. I’ve used Brita pitcher filters in the past; the water quality seems as good as what I’d get from the pitcher filters.
