The APTMM2 flat tilt mount features a slim 1.9″ profile from the wall to the back of your
display. Additionally it has 0-15 degrees of tilt. The APTMM2 mount is constructed with 8LBS of 100% High Grade Steel providing a sturdy and reliable mount. The APTMM2’s solid wall plate allows for quick and easy installation and will support a wide variety of stud applications up to 28″ apart. The APTMM2 mount will fit the majority of LCD and Plasma Displays up to 55″. Most LCD and Plasma displays 55″ and smaller conforms to the VESA Standards

This is the first time I’ve mounted a flat panel to the wall, so I don’t have another mount to compare this to, but I can’t imagine neededing more in a mount than what this one provides. It’s very sturdy, easy to install, and hides completedly behind my 42″ Hitachi, and it angles down toward the couches just enough. br /br /The hardest part of the install was locating the studs, since my stud finder picked an awesome time to go haywire. Had to result to the old knock on the wall routine.br /br /My only grip is minor. The built in level and the free included level gave different results, netier of which turned out to be accurate. Save yourself some time by picking up a decent level and also a stud finder. You can back up your leveler with your stud finder’s lazer leveler and be sure it’s straight. br /br /I’ve seen people asking about dry wall installation. My opinion is don’t do it. It’s not worth it. Dry wall is not made to hold weight and if you have a quake it will probably come down and smash a kid. br /br /br /br /
