Delta Faucet 100-WF Classic Single-Handle Centerset Kitchen Faucet, Chrome CustomerReview

We searched our favorite plumbing-supply store for a new kitchen faucet, but found only expensive, fancy faucets that looked too high for our kitchen. All the new levers are too short, have too little travel, and are *very* difficult to adjust with just a nudge of your arm (necessary when both hands are messy or occupied!). Desperate, we turned to this decades-old standard. One caveat: Our plumber had to use longer flexible piping to avoid a kink with the new faucet lines, but he threw that in for free.br /br /We love it and it looks really good in our old-fashioned kitchen. It is so easy to turn on, off, and adjust the temperature, that at first we had to get used to not using brute force. Very satisfied. Our old one lasted for decades.

The pitcher holds up to seven eight-ounce glasses of delicious water at a time. The superior quality of this filtration system allows you to filter up to 40 gallons (151 liters) of water per filter, enough to last a typical household one to two months. To use, simply insert the filter, fill the pitcher, and enjoy a glass of cleaner, fresher-tasting water.pbTwo-Step Filtration Keeps Your Family Healthy/bbrConvenient and easy to use, the pitcher’s innovative two-stage filtration system is certified to remove twice as many contaminates as Brita water filtration systems. It removes 99.9% of harmful microbiological cysts, such as cryptosporidium and giardia, as well as other contaminates, such as lead, chloride, and arsenic. What’s more, pharmaceutical residue that’s often found in the water supplies of major metropolitan areas is reduced by 96%.pThe smart filter system also leaves beneficial fluoride in the water. This means your water will not only be healthier, it will taste cleaner. PUR believes your water should be as clean, natural, and free of unwanted substances as possible. To this end, All PUR products are tested and certified by NSF International, an independent agency that administers a series of rigorous tests for water purification.pbReduce Environmental Waste While Saving Money/bbrBy investing in a PUR water filtration system, you’ll be spending a tenth of what you would in one year of buying bottled water. This amounts to a comparable savings of 0 a year if you were to buy 16-ounce plastic water bottles. PUR CR-6000 2 Stage Oval Water Pitcher CustomerReview

This is a good, cheap, water purification pitcher/filter. The other reviews are generally correct — it takes hours to filter your water — but that isn’t a problem for me — I put it in the refrigerator and it’s there when I need it. I generally always keep it topped off each time I open the fridge.br /br /My only complaint — it does not have a lid over the spout. I find myself putting a wadded paper towel into the spout opening to prevent the water from starting to taste/smell like the interior of the refrigerator. br /br /Otherwise, I can’t complain. It does what it says, and it does so at a really cheap price.

Campbell Hausfeld FP209599AV 2-Gallon Mini Twin-Stack Air Compressor with 1 1/4-Inch 2-in-1 Brad Nailer / Stapler Kit CustomerReview

I got this compressor/nailer/stapler combo for exactly what it’s designed for…..small jobs. And so far it works great for what I’ve used it for. I used the nailer/stapler with a larger compressor though and it worked perfectly without any problems. I have not used the nailer/stapler with the compressor it came with but I would assume it should be fine, albeit with more frequent filling cycles. I’ve used the compressor for small jobs such as filling small tires on dollys, bikes, and occasionally to top off a vehicle tire when it was necessary. It was nice to not have to lug around a long hose from my bigger garage compressor and this compressor fills the bill just fine. I did purchase a longer coiled hose for it though. Overall I’m quite pleased with both the compressor and nailer/stapler. I did buy this on Black Friday for only at a local big box store so I feel it was a steal for what it does.

Delta Faucet 400-WF Classic Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray, Chrome CustomerReview

I’ve been a plumber for over 40 years and can’t remember when Delta wasn’t around. This is the Casic model which has been around forever. Delta has always been known for the Ball because thats what’s inside the guts of their single handle faucets. The newer model is touted as stainless but that’s really only the base. I don’t care for the style of the newer model because the handle is much longer and I think it actually gets in the way. One reviewer mentioned that he felt the newer one was much less stable because it has a rounded base, where the classic has a square base. That makes sense to me. As for the stainless, I have never seen one of the older ones rust out and that’s saying something. I recomment it unless you like the style of the newer one. I’m sure the guts are probably the same in both as they’ve been since they first came out.

The pitcher holds up to seven eight-ounce glasses of water at a time. The superior quality of this filtration system allows you to filter up to 40 gallons (151 liters) of water per filter cartridge, enough to last a typical household one to two months.pTo use, simply insert the filter, fill the pitcher with water, and set the filter life indicator located at the top of the pitcher. This indicator light alerts you when it’s time to change the filter–green means it’s working, yellow is your warning light, and at red you need to change the filter.pbTwo-Step Filtration Keeps Your Family Healthy/bbrConvenient and easy to use, the pitcher’s innovative two-stage filtration system is certified to remove twice as many contaminates as Brita water filtration systems. PUR CR-6000C 2-Stage Oval Water Pitcher with LED Indicator CustomerReview

We are an Agricultural Manufacturing company that produces a biodegradable cornstarch soil additive that helps reduce the need for watering so in an effort to keep the “green” mission we use these water filter pitchers to reduce the plastic bottles in the landfill. I feel really good about using this filter pitcher, but I wish there was a better recycling program for the filters. We do our best to dismantle the filters and recycle everything we can, but like with toner it would be great if we could return these to PUR for recycling.

Brita On Tap Replacement Filters, White, 2-Pack Specifications

Brita’s Ultra water system not only improves the flavor of tap water for drinking and cooking, it also purifies it. Brita packages two replacement water filters together to ensure that your water filter continues to function properly and that great-tasting water keeps flowing. Contaminants such as asbestos, cryptosporidium, and giardia are removed–as long as the filter is changed regularly. These filters fit readily on the Brita Ultra Faucet Filter, which is sold separately. I–Lynne Sampson/I

Brita On Tap Replacement Filters, White, 2-Pack CustomerReview

The Brita water filtration system is a good alternative to just water from the tap. Its easy to install and the replacement filters just snap into place. The town I live in has water that has a high mineral content and tastes strange. After installing the filter, the water tasted significantly better.

Worm Factory 360 WF360T Worm Composter – Terra Cotta Overviews

Composting with worms allows you to turn kitchen scraps, paper waste and cardboard into nutrient-rich soil for your plants. The Worm Factory 360 composting system makes the entire process quick and easy. With a thermo siphon air flow design, the Worm Factory 360 increases the composting speed. Now you can produce compost much faster than traditional composting methods. Master Gardeners agree, worm castings are one of the richest forms of fertilizer that you can use. The Worm Factory 360 can be used indoors or outdoors allowing year round production. Now composting is no longer limited to backyards. The Worm Factory 360 is odorless making it great for apartments, kitchens, garages, porches and more. Simply add a handful of worms and your organic waste to the bottom tray. The worms will start processing the food. Once the bottom tray is filled add another tray. The worms migrate upward to the newest food source leaving the bottom tray full of nutrient-rich compost. As waste is broken down, moisture filters through the system, taking nutrient-rich particles with it. This makes it possible to harvest organic liquid fertilizer right from the spigot. 20 year warranty.
