Delta Faucet 400-WF Classic Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray, Chrome CustomerReview
I’ve been a plumber for over 40 years and can’t remember when Delta wasn’t around. This is the Casic model which has been around forever. Delta has always been known for the Ball because thats what’s inside the guts of their single handle faucets. The newer model is touted as stainless but that’s really only the base. I don’t care for the style of the newer model because the handle is much longer and I think it actually gets in the way. One reviewer mentioned that he felt the newer one was much less stable because it has a rounded base, where the classic has a square base. That makes sense to me. As for the stainless, I have never seen one of the older ones rust out and that’s saying something. I recomment it unless you like the style of the newer one. I’m sure the guts are probably the same in both as they’ve been since they first came out.
